Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Regional Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients busyDomiciliary service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing care services, ensuring high-quality care for service users, and leading a team of professionals in a supported living, residential or home care environment. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage resources while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The role is heavily Operations based and will be to work alongside the business owners to develop the business further.

Duties

  • Supervise and support staff in delivering exceptional care to service users, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
  • Oversee any medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the facilities, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to maintain open lines of communication regarding care.
  • Monitor financial performance and assist in budget preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Manage the Registered Managers and assist the directors in the setting up of new services


Skills

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience as an Ops Manager, or Area Manager or Regional Manager (preferred)
  • Previous experience of being a Registered Manager (preferred)
  • Strong supervisory skills with a focus on quality assurance in care delivery.
  • Background in senior care is essential, preferably in Domiciliary or looking after vulnerable people
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with service users, families and staff
  • A compassionate approach to care management that prioritises the well-being of residents.
  • A level 5 in Health & Social care
