We are seeking an English Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities and offers a competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to student learning and development.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the English curriculum and pedagogy.
- Mark and provide constructive feedback on student work.
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
- Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
- Teaching qualifications (QTS and PGCE) are preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in teaching English, or a strong knowledge of the English language and literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
