Our client is looking for a Customer Services Administrator to join their customer service team to act as a first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and face to face.

You will process orders on the internal IFS system and liaise with all departments across the lifecycle of an order. You will also work closely with the transport and depot teams as part of a cohesive Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities as Customer Services Administrator:

  • Placing orders
  • General administration duties
  • Responding to Sales enquiries
  • Contacting potential customers that have visited the clients website to discuss their product range
  • Keeping the CRM system up to date (Contact details, customer queries, complaint management)
  • Serving customers face to face (Inc. handling cash)
  • Liaising with the clients Purchasing, Operations and Sales colleagues
  • Outside haulage booking
  • Parcel carriers
  • Pallet carriers

Key Requirements:

  • Customer Services experience
  • Telephone and face to face communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Attention to detail and questioning mind set
  • Flexibility and willingness to react and help as situations arise
  • Ability to multi task
  • Project and/or project experience would be beneficial
  • Flexible, open and positive attitude essential
  • Geographical knowledge of the country and road network
  • Specialist & technical job knowledge
  • Target and deadlines focused
