Removals Administrator/Coordinator

About the Role of Removals Administrator/Coordinator:

They are currently seeking a dedicated and self motivated Removals Administrator to join their professional and friendly team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of their removals services, from the initial enquiry through to the completion of the move. You will be an integral part of the company after training.  And will be the go to person.

Key Responsibilities for Removals Administrator/Coordinator:

      Handle initial sales enquiries and book appointments for estimators.

Call potential clients and convert appointments into confirmed moves.

Liaise with estimators to achieve targets.

Assist with the coordination of moves, ensuring seamless service from enquiry to completion.

Generate quotations, confirmations, work sheets, and invoices; manage filing and general administrative duties.

Communicate directly with clients throughout the removals process, providing advice, reassurance, updates, and aftercare as needed.

Organize removal crews and vehicles, adapting to a sometimes fast paced, changing environment.

Key Skills and Requirements for Removals Administrator/Coordinator:

      A minimum of 3 years of experience in administration and customer service, preferably within the removals, relocation, shipping, or transport industries.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook) is essential; experience with MoveMan software is a plus.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with strong negotiation and customer service abilities.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Sales experience with a drive to generate business (no cold calling involved).

A hands on approach, with a good sense of humour and the confidence to work on your own initiative.
