WAREHOUSE AND DESPATCH MANAGER

This is a newly created opportunity due to expansion for a Warehouse and Despatch Manager. Working with this well-established brand you will be responsible for the day to day management of an Automated Despatch function within this business. You will be responsible for training, motivating and implementing new processes within this department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Development, implementation and management of Standard Operating Procedures in the plant.
- Ensuring that all personnel and operations comply with Health and Safety requirements.
- Identifying training requirements and managing an effective programme of in-house training for all Despatch operatives.
- Managing holidays and absence of staff employed in Despatch.
- Ensuring all pertinent records and documentation are managed and maintained.
- Ensuring all relevant operations comply with productivity, quality, health and safety and customer requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working within Production as either a Supervisor or Manager
- Experience of working within Manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven coaching and training skills.
