Physis Care is excited to be offering an opportunity to join their team as a Therapeutic Support Worker. Physis provides residential care, education, and therapy for children and young people aged 11-18 who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Therapeutic Support Worker to join our team and play a key role in creating safe and caring spaces for young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

The successful Therapeutic Support Worker will have:

• Level 3 QCF Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
• Experience working with children with complex needs in a residential setting
• A manual driver’s licence for use of on-site vehicles
• The ability to handle challenging situations with a calm and positive approach
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to share best practice with the wider team

What’s involved in the role?

• Implementing and modeling the Physis Model of Therapeutic Care to provide emotional, social, and educational support to young people
• Working as part of a team under the direction of the Registered Manager (RM) to deliver the highest standards of care
• Supporting the day-to-day maintenance of the household, including tasks such as driving, cooking, and cleaning
• Always promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children
