Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor / Building Surveyor to join their team on a long-term basis based in their Market Harborough office. They provide a comprehensive range of services, including architectural design, building surveying, project management, quantity surveying, maintenance, and health & safety consultancy.

Assistant Building Surveyor / Building Surveyor - Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering a range of building surveying services, including:
- Providing building maintenance advice
- Conducting building condition surveys
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and drawings for capital improvement projects
- Contract administration, including drafting and managing standard contract forms
- Overseeing works in line with the Party Wall Act
- Managing capital programme projects across multiple sites
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Assistant Building Surveyor / Building Surveyor - Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role
- BSc in Building Surveying (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and construction processes
- Experience within the education sector (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages
