People Coordinator

£26,000pa to £28,000pa d.o.e (pro rota) LE16 7DT 29.5 days holiday 9am-5pm Mon/Tues/Thurs & Fri, Pension, Private Medical Insurance, Bonus Scheme, Permanent, Hybrid (2 days office based once trained)

Due to continued success and expansion plans within a well established People/HR Team, at their head office location of a multi-branch organisation has an exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Coordinator to join them. You will provide support to the business in recruiting talent to ensure their continued success:

  • Working directly with hiring managers and people business partners, coordinating successful recruitment campaigns
  • Undertaking all administration duties related to recruitment, receiving and screening CV's, compiling shortlist based on vacancy requirements, distribution application forms, diary management for hiring managers & people business partners and coordinating interview availability
  • Obtaining feedback following on from interview, internally and with interviewee, communicating feedback to all parties
  • Confirming job offer information and informing successful candidate, as well as issuing on-boarding company documentation, chasing for return if required
  • Arranging day one induction and any training related to the role for new starts, as well arranging continual and renewal training for current work force
  • Providing adhoc administration support to the People/HR team as required

We would expect the successful People Coordinator to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills face to face, verbally via telephone and/or by email, ensuring all customer journeys are positive. A friendly, confident and approachable and visible manner is essential for this role. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within HR Administration/Assistant, Recruitment Administration or People Administration and are looking to progress their career within HR. The ideal candidate would be CIPD Level 3 qualified.
