The Role

As a Surveyor, you’ll play a vital role in managing project financials, ensuring budgets are met, and working with clients to maintain exceptional service. With a focus on bespoke joinery, you’ll oversee projects from start to finish, contributing to their reputation for quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing project financials and preparing initial cash flows.
  • Analysing quotations from installation teams and ensuring material/subcontract expenditure aligns with budgets.
  • Identifying, pricing, and justifying variations or changes to project scopes.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications.
  • Promptly agreeing on final accounts upon project completion.
  • Resolving contractual and commercial issues efficiently.
  • Managing and chasing outstanding retentions in line with subcontract orders.
  • Compiling and submitting fortnightly CVRs to the management team.
  • Keeping clients informed with up-to-date project accounts.
  • Collaborating closely with the project delivery team to maximise profitability.
