Our client is currently looking for a Parts Manager for their SME family run business to head up operations in their depot based in Lincolnshire. Our client is offering a competitive salary up to £50,000, along with a generous holiday package of 25 days plus bank holidays. Successful candidates will have experience overseeing a team of operatives, handling part orders and the transportation of parts as well as monitoring stock levels. Candidates must also be commercially aware to provide the best option for the business when used parts come in.

Our client supplies agricultural parts locally, Nationally and International, supplying customers with a vast variety of fast-moving parts and accessories enabling them to view, purchase and take away parts on the day.

Parts Manager Job Overview

  • Manage 7 operatives, providing advice on jobs carried out to maximise company profits (whether to renovate or sell individually etc)
  • Organising the transportation of parts to the warehouse for shipment.
  • Identifying parts, providing prices, and checking availability.
  • Prepare parts orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth departmental operations of the workshop.
  • Maintain close communication with operatives and internal departments.
Parts Manager Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position e.g. agricultural, plant etc. Main dealer workshop manager would be advantageous. Would consider Senior Engineers looking for an office position as well.
  • Good understanding of Agricultural parts or similar.
  • Commercial awareness for running/ non-running tractor parts.
  • Understanding on how to dismantle motors, gearboxes and other parts.

Parts Manager Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000- £50,000
  • Working hours: 8:30- 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday Package: 25 days + 8 BH
