Sonic Summary

Our client is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent position based in Markfield.
The pay rate for this role is £13 per hour.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of driving experience, with no new passes accepted.
The job involves delivering palletised sheet steel across the UK, with the possibility of up to three nights out per week.
Responsibilities include load security, daily vehicle checks, and maintaining excellent customer service while adhering to legal driving regulations.

Our client is looking for a professional Class 2 HGV Driver to join them on a permanent basis.

Location – Markfield

Pay Rate - £13ph

You must have a minimum of one years experience (no new passes) required.

You will be delivering palletised sheet steel throughout the UK. Within this role nights out are required and up to 3 per week if needed.

MUST

Must be prepared to do night outs (depending on the needs of business could be up to 3 per week)
Responsible for load security, must have knowledge of chaining or strapping
A clean driving licence /CPC up to date
Excellent customer service skills
Responsible for load, ensuring it is safe and secure for delivery
Legal obligations in terms of Drivers Hours and Working Time and to drive within all rules, legislation and regulations in force.
To Carry out daily vehicle checks and report immediately any defects.
