We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in financial planning administration who is passionate about enhancing the client experience. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to make an immediate impact.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting one or two Financial Advisers, overseeing a wide range of tasks including diary coordination, administrative support, case management, and client relationship development.

To excel in this role, you will need to be highly organised, proactive, and skilled at multitasking. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be liaising with clients and third-party providers on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with third-party providers and navigate their platforms effectively.
  • Process new business applications with attention to detail.
  • Manage Financial Planner diaries and coordinate client meetings.
  • Prepare documentation for client interactions, including annual review meeting packs.
  • Respond to email enquiries and engage directly with clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry within internal systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and fully utilise our CRM system (Xplan) to enhance digital financial planning processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within Financial Services.
  • A solid understanding of financial products, including pensions, investments, mortgages, and protection.
  • Strong IT skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills, with a structured and organised approach to tasks.
  • Ability to conduct fact-finding and apply analytical thinking.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client service and achieving positive outcomes.
  • A team-oriented mindset, valuing collaboration and professional growth.
