The Company

An expanding, global business with a brand new headquarters in Marlow, are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. An exciting opportunity to join a thriving business who keep going from strength to strength and are a well respected competitor in the market.

The Role

Primarily working alongside the Senior Project Coordinator and Project Manager to successfully plan, coordinate and deliver small to major projects. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Project Manager in completion/handover of the projects
  • Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors and build relationships to get pricing and service to deliver in a timely/cost effective manner
  • Build project packs that can be submitted and issued for approval, update project tracker and order log whilst uploading project onto the system
  • Highlight any potential risks to margin, completion dates or breaches in policy that can affect the company and the projects
  • Work closely with the Sales, Projects and Service team to set up and complete all handovers when they are ready, ensuring all documentation is complete and handed to relevant departments
  • Build subcontractor contracts and submit for approval
  • Assist the Project Manager with their monthly invoice forecast

About You

We are looking for someone who ideally has experience within a similar function, but if not, you must be able to come in and learn quickly 'on the job’, whilst already possessing strong coordination skills. Key attributes/skills desire:

  • Experience as an Administrator or similar, ideally within an engineering or construction environment (not essential)
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel user
  • Strong communicator and able to liaise with people of all levels
  • Accurate and an eye for detail
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload
  • Enjoys a busy role
  • Strong team player and happy to help out others when required

The Package

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE.
