We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to join our clients fast-paced manufacturing business. This versatile position requires someone who can oversee multiple operational areas while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional workplace standards.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Facilities Manager

Maintenance Management: Oversee both reactive and preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance

Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with relevant regulations and legislation, implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance

Cost Management: Identify and implement cost efficiencies across facilities operations while developing effective loss prevention strategies

Service Coordination: Manage vendor relationships and coordinate essential services including cleaning, catering, and parking

Building Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive building maintenance plans to ensure safe, functional, and efficient facilities

Team Leadership: Direct facilities staff to deliver high-quality services that support manufacturing operations

 

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment

The Facilities Manager will need knowledge of health and safety regulations and facility compliance requirements

Strong project management and problem-solving abilities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

Budget management experience

Technical understanding of building systems and equipment
