Job Title: Production Team Leader
Location: Marlow
Hours:Â Monday- Thursday 08:00-16:30, Friday 08:00-13:00 (Flexible)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join a leading manufacturer in Marlow, committed to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions. We are looking for an experienced individual to lead and manage a high-performing production team and ensure all production schedules are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Leader:
- Develop, monitor, and manage the production plan to meet delivery deadlines.
- Lead the production team, setting job expectations, planning, scheduling, and conducting appraisals.
- Supervise and motivate the production team, ensuring adherence to HR processes.
- Monitor the condition of production equipment and define future requirements.
- Manage SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) issues, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to meet all necessary quality requirements.
- Maintain and compile performance records and manufacturing information.
- Continuously update professional and technical knowledge.
The ideal Production Team Leader will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or people management role within a production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- A background in electronics or light manufacturing is desirable.
- Strong planning, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Awareness of Safety, Health, and Environmental issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of light mechanical assembly work.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
