Job Description:
We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to lead our health and safety initiatives across commercial solar and BESS projects. This role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing health and safety policies that are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety plans in compliance with CDM regulations.

- Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.

- Lead safety training sessions for staff to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Â
- Manage the health and safety documentation and ensure all practices are up to date.
Â
- Act as the point of contact for all health and safety enquiries from project teams and external regulators.
Â
Key Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or higher.
Â
- Proven track record of managing health and safety in the renewable energy sector, particularly in commercial projects.

- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing health and safety teams.
Â
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to commercial solar and BESS projects.

- Site-specific certifications such as CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) are a plus.
