LOCATION: Martock, Somerset

HOURLY RATE: £12.80 P/H

HOURS: 14 hours (flexible on days and hours)

We are seeking a flexible and well-organised Administrator to join our client's small and friendly team on a temporary basis, starting immediately for a minimum of 3 months. You will support the team in providing a variety of administration duties to ensure the department runs smoothly.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and manage correspondence and documents, bringing items to the attention of the Chief Executive (CEO) as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO as required.
  • Handle enquiries from the public in person, by telephone, or email, referring relevant enquiries to the CEO or signposting to the appropriate body.
  • Maintain records, both manual and computerised, including the manual filing system.
  • Maintain office stationery and other supplies, processing re-orders to secure best value.
  • Regularly update the website with Minutes, Agendas, and news items as directed by the CEO.
  • Keep the noticeboards up to date.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Flexible and willing to help
  • Comfortable with a small element of lone working
  • Experience dealing with the public
  • Computer literate with a confident telephone manner
