Spencer Clarke Group have partnered with a global & expanding manufacturing company to recruit and Interim Accountant for a 3 month contract to assist with Turkish Accounting standards while implementing their new Finance system.
The ideal candidate will have experience/knowledge of Turkish accounting requirements & legislation to ensure that the business is aligned with regulation as well as providing accounting support to the Turkish part of the business. This is a remote role, ideally a candidate based in the UK or Turkey.
Duties will also include:
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders
- Processing tax payments and returns
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
About youThe ideal candidate for this position must have:
- 3 years work experience as an Accountant
- Fluent in English & Turkish (both written and verbal)
- Highly motivated, be solution-oriented
- Excellent knowledge of Turkish accounting regulations and procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
