An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a vibrant, innovative & expanding manufacturing company in the Workington area on a permanent basis. As the Management Accountant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing detailed analysis across the business to facilitate continuous improvement, growth & much moreIf you have experience working within manufacturing/FMCG or within a similar Finance Analyst role which we're looking for, this exciting role could be the next step in your career and we'd love to hear from you! About the roleBased in Workington, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and report on the financial performance across projects & locations
  • Forecast and ensure compliance with financial regulations across UK & Europe
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual reports including management accounts, cash forecasts & project reports.
  • Partner with leadership & operations
  • Collate & analyse financial data, providing detail on trends, forecast and budgets.

About youThe ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • Ideally AAT level 4 qualified, and looking to progress to chartered status
  • Strong Excel skills and experience of working with ERP software is preferable
  • Experience with product costing & understanding of the manufacturing process is desirable, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills & will be partnering with stakeholders across the business
