Your new company
My client is a well-established accountancy firm based in the Maryport area. They are looking for a temporary Payroll Administrator to help with their additional workload due to the rapidly increasing presence in the industry.
Your new role
The core of this exciting new role as a Payroll Administrator will be to collate and process Payroll via Sage. Other duties you will be responsible for are:

  • Processing payslips (e.g Calculating salary, tax and social security withholdings and other allowances, benefits and entitlements)
  • Administrative processing of new hire and terminations
  • Calculating monthly attendance records for employees
  • Drafting & issuing contractual notifications and correspondence
  • Providing employment law support and consultancy
  • Maintaining and updating all personnel records

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you will need to have demonstrated experience using Sage or any other Accountancy Software. It is also important for the new Payroll Administrator to have the ability to work independently whilst having strong communication skill and great attention to detail.
