About the Role

Working for a company who specialise in innovative control and automation systems for critical infrastructure, driving sustainability and supporting a net-zero future. This Project Manager role is ideal for someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys taking ownership of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires an understanding of PLC/SCADA control systems. You’ll work closely with senior management and clients to define project requirements, oversee progress, and support team development.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager

  • Collaborate with senior management and clients to define project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to provide clarity and direction.
  • Adapt project plans as needed to meet evolving business and client needs.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assign project tasks based on team members’ skills and experience.
  • Support team growth by identifying training needs and offering coaching.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of project management processes, including agile methodologies.
  • Previous experience as an Engineering Project Manager
  • Excellent organisational skills, focus, and determination.

You will be based at our clients HQ but will also visit client sites across the UK. Standard working week is 40 hours with a flexible working hours scheme and an early finish on a Friday!
