About the Role

This Project Manager role is ideal for someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys taking ownership of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires an understanding of PLC/SCADA control systems. You’ll work closely with senior management and clients to define project requirements, oversee progress, and support team development.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager
- Collaborate with senior management and clients to define project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to provide clarity and direction.
- Adapt project plans as needed to meet evolving business and client needs.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Assign project tasks based on team members’ skills and experience.
- Support team growth by identifying training needs and offering coaching.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of project management processes, including agile methodologies.
- Previous experience as an Engineering Project Manager
- Excellent organisational skills, focus, and determination.
- Ability to adapt to business demands and leverage technology for efficiency.
- Strong communication skills to engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

You will be based at our clients HQ but will also visit client sites across the UK. Standard working week is 40 hours with a flexible working hours scheme and an early finish on a Friday!
