JOB – Applications & Compliance Engineer   LOCATION – Derbyshire TERM - Permanent SALARY – circa £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experienceA Derbyshire based Engineering company are currently looking for an Applications & Compliance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Applications Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • Good understanding of AutoCAD Electrical design packages.
  • Good experience with electrical switchgear in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of BS EN 61439
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • Producing technical documentations to comply with customer requirements & specifications.
  • Ensuring all products are tested in accordance to BS EN 61439
  • Providing technical support & knowledge to new & existing customers.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
