Electrical Installation TutorThey have centres all over the UK. Key Locations include; West Yorkshire, West Sussex, Cheshire & West Midlands Full-Time based entirely from the centre closest to your location. Salary up to £44,000A leading training provider is seeking experienced Electrical Installation Tutors to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about shaping the next generation of electricians, while also contributing to the development of high-quality vocational training across the UK.The role: This is a teaching position focused on delivering high-quality electrical installation training. You will be responsible for a variety of training programmes, including both theory and hands-on components, preparing learners for qualifications such as Level 2 & 3 Diplomas, 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection, Portable Appliance Testing, and emerging technologies like Solar PV and Battery Storage.You’ll also contribute to the development of course materials and assessments, ensuring content is up-to-date with industry standards and awarding body criteria.What you'll be doing? 
  • Deliver structured and engaging lessons in electrical installation subjects
  • Support learners through theory and practical assessments
  • Track and monitor learner progress, identifying those who may need additional support
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and outcomes
  • Ensure all training meets internal quality assurance and health & safety standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain a high standard of service
  • Promote an inclusive learning environment and contribute to safeguarding responsibilities
What we need? 
  • Recent industry experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical work
  • Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS or equivalent)
  • Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and scientific principles
  • Hands-on skills in a wide range of electrical installation practices
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel to centres may be required)
While qualified trainers are preferred, don’t let that hold you back. If you’re currently working in the industry and considering a move into teaching, we’d still love to hear from you.Would be great if you had:
  • Level 3 Assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA or equivalent)
  • Internal Quality Assurance certification (e.g., IQA Level 4)
  • Advanced electrical qualifications (e.g., C&G 2391, 2396, or green energy credentials like EV charging, Solar PV, EESS)
  • A genuine passion for lifelong learning and mentoring others
