- Deliver structured and engaging lessons in electrical installation subjects
- Support learners through theory and practical assessments
- Track and monitor learner progress, identifying those who may need additional support
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and outcomes
- Ensure all training meets internal quality assurance and health & safety standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain a high standard of service
- Promote an inclusive learning environment and contribute to safeguarding responsibilities
- Recent industry experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial electrical work
- Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS or equivalent)
- Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and scientific principles
- Hands-on skills in a wide range of electrical installation practices
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel to centres may be required)
- Level 3 Assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA or equivalent)
- Internal Quality Assurance certification (e.g., IQA Level 4)
- Advanced electrical qualifications (e.g., C&G 2391, 2396, or green energy credentials like EV charging, Solar PV, EESS)
- A genuine passion for lifelong learning and mentoring others
