Sonic Summary

The Local Authority in the East Midlands is seeking a Finance Business Partner for an interim position with a salary ranging from £400 to £550 per day, negotiable based on experience.
This role requires a CCAB qualification and prior experience in complex capital accounting, preferably within the Local Authority or Public Sector.
The contract is for 37 hours a week, with a hybrid working model and standard hours from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include supporting capital programme monitoring, reviewing asset valuations, and preparing accounting statements related to capital accounts.

My client is a Local Authority in Easy Midlands who are looking to appoint a talented Finance Business Partner on an Interim basis.

What's on offer:

Salary: £400 - £550 per day, inside IR35.

About the role:

Based in East Midlands (Hybrid): This role is to support with Capital Programme Monitoring and year end capital accounting.

Requirements:

Review and input of asset valuations.
Processing and checking of capital accounting transactions relating to valuations, depreciation, additions and disposals.
Preparation of accounting statements, notes and disclosures relating to capital accounts.
Co-ordination and review of capital monitoring processes.

About you:You will have the following experience:

CCAB Qualified.
Technical knowledge and experience of complex capital accounting is essential.
Local Authority/Public Sector Experience.
