Interim Finance Business Partner - Local Authority

Cedar is currently supporting a local authority in the Midlands who are urgently seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial advice and strategic support across various departments.

Key Details:

Day Rate: £500-£550 Inside IR35

Location: Midlands

Place of Work: Hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance once a fortnight

Contract Length: Minimum of 6 months

Main Duties:

  • Monitor and forecast budgets to ensure financial stability
  • Set budgets in line with strategic objectives
  • Advise on new processes and policies to enhance efficiency
  • Provide finance comments for reports and officer decisions
  • Offer day-to-day support and guidance to the business

Essential Experience:

  • CCAB Qualified
  • Proven experience of working as a Financial Business Partner in a local authority
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
