Acoustic Consultant:

My client is an established acoustic consultancy that offers services for all construction project stages. Their services include strategy reviews, architectural drawing appraisals, design advice, noise assessments for planning, and UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing. Their solutions cover infrastructure projects such as rail and highway networks, as well as tall structures including buildings, masts, and towers.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
  • Prior experience in project planning and report preparation for project applications
  • Proficiency in addressing technical issues during assessments
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects, closely collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle

Responsibilities:

  • Modify project plans and designs to ensure compliance with client specifications and statutory guidance
  • Offer clients expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues affecting project completion and timelines
  • Regularly conduct noise and vibration inspections to ensure adherence to British standards and building regulations at all project stages
