Let's get straight to it. This is a Warehouse Supervisor role. Not a clipboard-holder, a proper, sleeves-rolled-up, keep-things-moving Supervisor.
You'll be making sure the operation runs smoothly. That means keeping people on track, stock where it should be, and making sure everyone goes home with the right number of fingers at the end of their shift.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Running the warehouse alongside the Warehouse Manager-keeping things efficient, not chaotic.
- Making sure your team knows what they're doing and that they're actually doing it.
- Reporting on KPIs (yes, numbers matter).
- Keeping on top of Health & Safety, GMP, and risk assessments-because nobody wants an avoidable accident.
- Rota planning-because people like to know when they're working.
- Running daily team meetings-short and to the point.
- Training and developing your team-because a well-trained team makes life easier for everyone.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who can communicate (both with their mouth and via email).
- Attention to detail-because small mistakes cause big problems.
- IT skills (AX, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook-basic stuff, but you'll need it).
- Leadership skills-because people need direction, not just orders.
- The ability to work under pressure-because it's a warehouse, not a library.
What You Get in Return
- A job where your input actually matters.
- A team that works hard but doesn't take itself too seriously.
- A company that values integrity, quality, and food safety (because we're in the food industry, and cutting corners isn't an option).
