Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading manufacturing company in Derbyshire to recruit an experienced and dynamic Production Manager. This pivotal role reports directly to the Operations Director and will oversee a team of approximately 60 employees. Our client is looking for someone who is a natural leader with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to drive change and improvement in production environments.
Salary: £50,000 p.a

Duties of the Production Manager will include:
- Training, leading, and developing a talented team to achieve excellence
- Continuously improving output quality to ensure “right first time” production
- Identifying and eliminating downtime obstacles for optimal efficiency
- Effectively managing costs while uncovering opportunities for increased productivity
- Establishing and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the team

- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience of using best practice techniques
- Strong people management skills, able to motivate and influence
- Drive a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of implementing Lean Manufacturing principles
