Site Manager – Castle Donnington
Trade background & worked with the Principal Contractor
£380 - £400 per day per hour (Outside IR35)
Initial 12-month contract
CSCS Black Card Required
IOSH / NEBOSH
You will be responsible for the following:
• Oversee and coordinate multiple installation suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure that all environmental, health, and safety regulations are strictly followed, challenging unsafe behaviour or acts when necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Lead Daily Activity Briefings (DABS), safety briefings, and site meetings, driving accountability and ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
• Take a decisive approach in managing site operations, resolving issues swiftly, and challenging non-compliance or inefficiencies.
• Monitor and report on project progress using MS Office and MS Project, providing accurate updates to senior management and clients.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
• Previous experience in the automation industry with a trade background and worked for a Principal Contractor
• CSCS Black Site Manager Card – Mandatory
• Formal and validated Health & Safety qualifications – IOSH / NEBOSH
• Ability to effectively communicate with both our subcontractors and our client
• Proficient IT skills in Microsoft applications
• Strong site co-ordination skills
• Experienced with lifting operations and high-risk activities
