A genuinely exciting Production Lead/Production Manager position has arisen with this well-established provider of road traffic and street lighting products. This strategic role within the Senior Leadership Team will assume responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of all production activities within the business, the management and development of people and all health, safety, welfare and environmental objectives. LOCATION: You will be working from a site in the Derbyshire area. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
SALARY: 45,000 to 55,000 as a basic salary. Private medical care (eligible after 6 months continuous service), Life Insurance (eligible after 6 months continuous service), pension scheme and 20 days annual leave.
As Production Lead/Production Manager you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all production activities within the business, the management and development of people and all health, safety, welfare and environmental objectives.
Key duties are:
- Effective and efficient management of the production and operational department
- Continuous development and execution of a strategic growth plan
- Engagement and development of people
- Health, safety and training.
- Innovation and best practice
- Sustainability and Environmental goals
- Cost down initiatives
- KPI management and reporting
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 2 years Production Management experience, demonstrable experience and achievements within a multi-channel engineering sector, health and safety experience and qualifications and experience of change management.
