BMS Commissioning Engineer

Due to significant growth and a robust pipeline of projects, our client is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in commissioning BMS systems, ensuring seamless operation and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of project technical scopes.
  • Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with installation standards and prevent potential issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors to resolve challenges.
  • Collect, record, and report site measurements, system setups, and performance data.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with clients and subcontractors, aligning with project timelines.
  • Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports.
  • Address post-handover issues and provide ongoing maintenance and remedial work.
  • Proactively identify and address project issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Actively participate in project meetings and collaborate with team members.

Experience:

  • Strong understanding of electrical PLC-based control systems, control panels, and basic IT networking.
  • Proven experience in commissioning PLC-based systems in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • A systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
