Vehicle Assembly Operative
Salary: £27,000 - £34,500 + depending on experience + £1,500 bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Location: Atworth, Wiltshire

Our client, a multi-award winning commercial vehicle dealership group has opened a new manufacturing site in Atworth.
The Role
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable assembly operative to join our new team; someone who is passionate about engaging with company values and delivery quality service levels for customers.
Day to day you will be:
- Working independently and on own initiative to set timelines and standards.
- Read engineering and fabrication drawings provided and work from own initiative.
- Installing vehicle panels using hand and power tools
- Basic wiring of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles
- Experience in drilling, jigged and un-jigged assembly to drawings
The Successful Individual
- Assembly experience (1 year, required
- MIG / TIG Welding (1 year, preferred but not necessary))
- Fabrication (1 year, preferred but not necessary)
- You have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process
