Salary: £59,398 Per Annum

Overview:  

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Manager on behalf of one of our clients. 
 
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in developing a contract programme from the Divisional Director’s preliminary production targets.
  • Prepare materials delivery schedules.
  • Liaison with sub-contractors appointed by the Company to undertake the work within agreed timetables.
  • Manage and control all site operatives, sub-contractors and other resources, ensuring that a high level of safety is at the forefront of delivery.
  • Ensure high standards of conduct and workmanship.
  • Call off materials from main/bulk orders and liaise with the buying department for all material needs.
  • Check all deliveries and report on deficiencies collate and return delivery notes and maintain all site records.
  • Enact and comply with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Keep abreast of current legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with professional consultants and advisors.
  • Enact and comply with the Company’s Disciplinary and Grievance policies and procedures 

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Experience in managing construction of new build housing, from inception to completion
  • Be competent with project planning, site Health & Safety with commercial awareness.
  • Have good people management, problem solving skills and time management skills.
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Have Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
  • A full driving licence and car is essential
  • Relevant First Aid Qualification
  • NVQ Level 6/7
  • Valid Scaffold Appreciation Certificate
  • Valid LOLER certificate
  • CPCS Telehandler license.
