JB378: Senior Process EngineerSalary: CompetitiveLocation: MelkshamOverview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continuous improvement of processes, using Lean tools, participating in and leading Kaizens.
  • Process engineering, problem solving and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Managing and presenting data and improvement plans.
  • Support NPI and specification of new equipment.
  • Manage change process and documentation.
  • Responsibility for all moulding processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with Lean methodology.
  • Problem solving skills and methodology.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • IT skills (Excel Visio).
  • Practical hands-on person.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Significant process engineering exposure in an engineering-based manufacturing environment.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of materials (rubber, metallurgy, plastics).
  • Basic finance.
  • CAD skills.
