We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Drama Teacher to join one of our well-reputed schools in Melton Mowbray, on a permanent basis. The role will commence after October half-term until the end of the academic year, supporting with GCSE Drama course work and shows.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Drama teaching staff, fostering their professional development.
* Enhance and implement a high-quality Drama curriculum that promotes creativity and academic excellence.
* Ensure that teaching methods are grounded in current, research-based practices to improve student outcomes.
* Equip students for academic success while cultivating a lifelong passion for Drama beyond the scope of exams.
* Take responsibility for improving pupil achievement within the department, actively tracking and supporting progress.
