Role Description

Th is a full-time remote role for a Training & Competence Manager working with a community of advisers at varying stages in their careers.

This role will be home based working via online solutions though some travel and very occasional visits to offices may be required.

The Training & Competence Manager will be responsible for overseeing training and development, professional competence, CAS sign off and maintenance, providing guidance to advisers on best practice, soft skills and ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards to ensure positive consumer outcomes.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Supervisory Skills, Communication, and Training & Development in Financial Services - ideally with IFA's
  • Experience in Training and coaching advisers around best practice and quality standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and organised with a good grasp of technology and systems
  • Experience in IFA side of financial services industry is a must
  • Diploma qualified, CeMap or equiv. progress towards Chartered would be advantageous but not essential
