Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager role:
- People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.
- Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.
- Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
- WMS & ERP Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus.
- Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate for the Warehouse and Logistics Manager opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:
- Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential.
- Have a minimum of 3+ year's experience at a Warehouse Shift Manager / Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Logistics Manager level - Essential.
- Have managed teams beyond 10+ employees through managerial reports - Essential.
- A working knowledge of WMS / ERP systems - Advantageous.
- Exceptional people management and leadership skills - Essential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
- Commutable to Melton Mowbray (LE13) area - Essential.
Salary & Benefits Package:
- Salary - £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE).
