Job Type: Full-time, permanent 42 hours per week, 2 shift rotation days and nights.

Job Summary/ Purpose
Through effective organisation, control and utilisation of all shift production resources, ensure that agreed production schedules, customer requirements and the company's cost control parameters are fully met. In particular with regard to quality, material yield, plant utilisation and within the framework of Company and Divisional policies procedures and costs. To carry out any duty with due regard to Safety and Environmental obligations for all company personnel and visitors.
Develop and influence individual team members, ensuring that they are clearly aware of both their personal and their team objectives and that personal development targets are set.
Provide support for the strategic production improvement plan to ensure all group, divisional and site objectives are implemented, monitored, and continually improved within the Melton site.
Minimum Qualifications
- Academic Level: HNC/HND or equivalent professional experience in relevant manufacturing discipline.
- NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH Managing Safety
- Lean/Business Improvement Qualification
Knowledge/ Experience Required
- Language(s) and level of proficiency: English, fluent
- Knowledge/Experience: Minimum 3-5 years leading people.
- Must be able to positively influence and build good working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Must be able to demonstrate a flexible management style.
- Must be able to plan and organise activities of self and team, to achieve balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
