Elevation Recruitment Group, Business Support division are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team within an organisation in Barnetby, North Lincolnshire, as a Customer Service Administrator. 

Customer Service Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the drivers, customers, and internal departments (e.g., logistics, operations) to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Use and maintain weighbridge software systems
  • Liaise with external haulage companies
  • Ensure all operations comply with regulations regarding vehicle weights, cargo types, and environmental standards
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes based on the weight data recorded
  • Undertake the operation of a busy and fast-paced weighbridge
  • General administrative duties including recording weights, type of vehicle, whilst ensuring completion of the appropriate documentation
  • Efficiently input data onto the weighbridge from vehicles collecting/delivering to the site
  • Respond customer queries by telephone and email in a pleasant and efficient manner
  • Efficiently handle purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfilment
  • Develop and implement order and delivery schedules, ensuring a smooth and efficient start-up
  • Run and analyse weekly budgetary and financial reports to provide insights and support strategic planning


Requirements of the Customer Service Administrator:

  • Proven experience in weighbridge admin / operation is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and experience using an ERP system
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
