Abatec is seeking an experienced freelance Site Engineer to join our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, who has built an outstanding reputation for delivering major highways projects.
The ongoing project in South Wales requires a Site Engineer with previous experience in highways, groundworks, drainage, and general civil engineering.
As a Site Engineer you will:
- Use a robotic total station & GPS to provide leveling and surveying across site.
- Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations.
- Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary.
- Be a source of technical advice and quality control
- Have experience of highways, drainage, groundworks
Our client requires a Site Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations & GPS
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Understanding of AutoCAD
Salary and benefits include:
- £350 - £400 LTD
