Description

  • Develop and implement HSE strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Establish policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
  • Initiate and organise training of employees and executives
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
  • Report on HSE performance and suggest improvements

Profile

A successful HSE Manager should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field
  • A professional qualification in health and safety
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
