Prospero Taching are looking for a committed and professional Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a position starting ASAP at a wonderful Primary school.

Ideally the perfect candidates would have worked as a HLTA previously and have strong confidence in leading sessions. Also having experience working with SEN/SEND children. This could be based in both mainstream and special education schools. Working in learning resource bases (LRB's) within mainstream education and in certain profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) schools. Any people handling/ additional training would be desireable but not essential.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience of working with children/adults with additional needs.
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued in the last year
  • The candidate will need to be quite sporty and willing to take children out of lessons to play from time to time.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
