Management Accountant 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Rotherham, South Yorkshire Elevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment are excited to have partnered with a well-established manufacturing business based in Rotherham who are searching for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for producing and developing financial reports that aid decision-making within the business. The role involves working closely with the finance team and operations to implement key financial measures and improve reporting structures and budgeting. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce management accounts, including P&L reporting and overheads analysis
- Develop and implement monthly reporting packs, including sales and operational performance reports
- Assist in the creation and management of budgets
- Provide financial analysis and data-driven insights to support business decisions
- Assist in simplifying financial reporting
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve efficiency and structure
- Support with forecasting
- Ensure best practices are in place for financial reporting and operational measures
Person Specification:
- Previous proven experience in a management accountant role
- Proficient in NetSuite and/or Excel (must have strong skills in VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, SUMIFS)
- Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights
- Ability to identify reporting gaps and implement improvements
- Accuracy and reliability in financial reporting
