- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP for a varied client base
- Reviewing the work of junior staff and providing guidance
- Managing a portfolio of clients and building strong client relationships
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and providing advice to clients
- Liaising with HMRC and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Identifying and implementing improvements to client processes and procedures
- ACA/ACCA newly qualified (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and UK tax laws
- Experience of working in a practice environment
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
