About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, employees, and visitors. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties, including multi-surface cleaning, operating cleaning machinery, and ensuring facilities are ready for daily use. You will also play a key role in identifying and reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the wider Estates Team. Periodic deep cleaning and sanitisation will also be required as directed.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience, preferably in an office or institutional setting, and be comfortable using a variety of cleaning equipment and substances. You should hold an Emergency First Aid at Work certification.

You’ll be highly flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities, and capable of responding to urgent requests while supporting colleagues across the Estates and Facilities team.

About the Team

You will work as part of the Cleaning team under the direction of the wider Estates team, ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out efficiently and that all buildings remain in excellent condition. You will report to the Cleaning Supervisor.
