Business Development Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE + Bonus + CarÂ

Our client are a leading provider of electrical and mechanical engineering and installation services, delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to a diverse range of clients across various industries. With a strong reputation for excellence, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive our growth and expand their client base.
The Role:As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans to expand their services, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing sectors including Food & Beverage, Chemical, Packaging as well as Infrastructure, Utilities, Stadiums to name just a few.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for expansion.
- Generate leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
- Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and tenders to potential clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a business development role within the electrical or mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering and installation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
