Internal Sales Executive - Rotherham - Salary up to £30K + Bonus Potential

We are currently looking for an experienced Internal Sales Executive / Customer Service professional to join a growing business, who are looking to enhance their ability to maximise customer relationships. A great opportunity to join a growing business, in a team with future growth potential, working with a supportive Business Director.

What You'll Do:As the Internal Sales Executive, you will work closely with the external sales team to drive growth in the UK market, acting as the key liaison between customers and UK & EU units.

You will ownership for the sales order process, addressing queries, and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process sales orders using our ERP system (SAP), ensuring timely and accurate entry of customer data, costing, and order status.
  • Generating quotes, providing costing sheets, tenders and supporting outbound sales activities, including identifying new business opportunities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries related to the successful delivery of goods.
  • Manage all customer communications, ensuring orders are processed accurately and in compliance with service standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including production & logistics teams, Warehouse Teams, and external customers.
  • Actively support the sales and operational teams to maximise opportunities in the UK market.
  • Help in the implementation of operational changes, ensuring minimal disruption to production and service while driving improvements in processes.
  • Build and maintain active databases of new and potential customers, markets, and sectors through web-based research, phone calls, and emails.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, including supporting trade shows, email campaigns, and reviewing literature.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous Customer Service / Sales Experience working with deadlines, SLA commitments, outbound 'cold calling' appointment setting and farming for new business
