Manual Machinist - Days£30,000 - £32,000 + Overtime OTE £36k - £38k + Training Commutable from Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, Dinnington
Are you a Manual Machinist looking for a Days Based role with early Friday finishes, no weekend work and the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime?
In this role, you'll be milling and bore drilling, making quality parts for the Defence and Power Generation sectors. You'll join a close knit team of good people who take pride in their work.
This company are a leading manufacturer and electrical contractor and have great staff retention, a good reputation and are financially solid. The workshop has a good atmosphere where your skills are respected and the work is satisfying - you can see the quality of what you produce and there is a variety of work to get involved with.
This position would suit someone who has previously worked as a Manual Machinist who is tired of shifts, who wants a work life balance, job satisfaction and a variety of work, with the opportunity to earn more through well paid overtime.
DUTIES
- Milling and bore drilling to high standards
- Machining parts for Defence and Power Generation sectors
- Regular Monday to Friday days with an early Friday Finish
- Overtime available - paid at time and a half
PERSON
- Previously worked as a Manual Machinist or similar
- Skills in milling and bore drilling or similar
- Quality-focused with good attention to detail
- Reliable and can work as part of a team
