Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the strategic management and operational delivery of housing services, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategies for housing growth and investment that align with the borough's net zero ambitions.
- Manage major housing repair programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to reshape housing services, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on the performance of housing services, making data-driven decisions to improve service delivery.
- Proven experience in a senior housing management role within a local authority or similar organisation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing large-scale housing projects, including repairs and compliance initiatives.
- Commitment to sustainability and experience in implementing net zero strategies in housing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
