Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the Council’s OD and Change team as part of the Assistant Chief Executive’s directorate, supporting an ambitious and wide-ranging change programme.
- Work collaboratively with service leads while providing assurance to the Strategic Leadership Team.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the organisation by ensuring that managers and individuals are engaged, developed, and supported in their roles.
- Handle responsibilities across various service priorities including OD, organisational change, employee engagement, EDI, learning and development, and Health and Social Care workforce transformation.
- Build relationships and forge strong, robust partnerships with senior officers across the council and with external partners.
- Experience of working in a complex and challenging environment, ideally within both public and private sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently at all levels in an organisation to obtain buy-in and drive forward with momentum.
- Strong track record in delivering innovative OD solutions.
- Understanding of OD, organisational change, employee engagement, EDI, learning and development, and Health and Social Care workforce transformation.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to create and maintain robust partnerships.
